Back in 1987, our founders Eric and Rachel Hsu started in sunny Queensland with a simple idea: bring authentic soy products to Australia. At a time when plant-based foods were little known, they began hand-pressing tofu for local grocers — sparking a journey that has lasted nearly 40 years.
 

With Eric’s background in chemistry and a respect for traditional culinary methods, the family combined time-honoured soy-making with innovation to create nutritious, flavourful foods for everyone.
 

Today, King International stays true to those roots: making plant-based foods that are good for you, the planet, and the people who make them.

From tofu to yoghurts, cheeses, dips, and sauces, we’ve grown into one of Australia’s leading soy-food makers, loved across Australia, New Zealand, and the Asia Pacific.
 

We’re proud to support local farmers, source non-GMO soybeans, and keep our products Aussie made. You’ll find our range at Coles, Woolworths, and independent grocers.
